Do You Accept Section 8?

For our property management division, it is important to note that all decisions for rental applications are made by building ownership.  Our role in the rental process is to market the property, facilitate a tour, obtain a rental application, and package all documentation to present to building ownership.  Building ownership will always take a holistic approach when reviewing an application file and it is their decision to approve, deny or request more information regarding rental applications.

If you are interested in applying with a Section 8 voucher or similar housing assistance program, you are encourage to submit a standard rental application but also include any documentation of assistance as part of that submission.  Many of the owners we support may not have their property enrolled in the PHA program (which typically requires a property inspection) and may not be as familiar with the process in doing so. We are always here to educate all parties involved and help them understand the process better.

With or without an assistance program, our leasing team will always present a full application package that details identification, income, credit, background, employment checks and include all supporting documentation and let the owner make a decision from there.

As part of our leasing process, all applicants must complete an in-person or virtual tour with one of our licensed leasing agents before the rental application is submitted to the building ownership. Once ownership reviews the application holistically, they will make a decision to accept, deny, or request additional information for further consideration.
